What I've been doing

• Just finished my SUNY application, but I still have to get my counselor to send FIT my trancript, fill out my online grades, and send an essay. So much work!
• I've been working 5 days a week and I'm off on Fridays and Saturdays. Pretty good schedule, but I'm always late... 10 hours a day goes by so slow when you have nothing to do
• Finally met my internet celebrity friend HAN aka hanthelion.tumblr.com haha. Met up for Ling's birthday in Flushing and went to ktv!

• Just did a photoshoot for VN magazine (read my last post). Now I'm working with them on a few projects!
• Went to FNO! Promoted for The Esthetics Resource at the fashion binge at Arena Lounge. Afterwards went to Soho to see what was going on. It was crowded! Did the American Apparel model search for fun with Mich heh.

VN Beauty Magazine

Hey guys! I'm really excited to share with you guys a new project that I'm working on with a friend. I recently did a photoshoot VN Beauty which is a magazine that my friend has started. I'm really glad that I had reached out to him for this photoshoot because it was a very successful shoot and a great opportunity. The pictures will be featured in their fall issue which you can purchase online here. I also shot for an ad for Messlook Hair Salon which did my hair and make up. Here is a sneak peak!

VN Beauty is created by Le Quan whose goals are to reach out to new talent and work together with others who have a passion for art. This magazine celebrates the beauty within New York City and it is the only Asian fashion magazine ever created. What I love about this magazine is that it is a starting point for those who want to pursue in modeling, photography, fashion, etc. There is so much potential in everyone, but not everyone gets a chance. I also believe in the potential of this magazine and I'm very happy to be a part of it.

So you guys may be thinking, how am I working together with this magazine company? Well, I started talking to Le Quan about my blog and this great idea came to mind. Why not put this blog together with the magazine? What we mean is, I'm going to be going to events and blogging about what happens in those events. I'll also be writing for the magazine itself and just starting to get more readers for both my blog and the magazine. I'm super excited to get started on this and I hope you guys are looking forward to it as well!

Inspiration

Throughout my years of blogging, I've come across a lot of amazing bloggers that inspire me. Not only do they inspire me to continue my own blog, but they show me what great opportunities will come out of it. You don't just become popular like that. Instead of expecting something and creating a strategy to popularize your blog, you blog for yourself in whatever way makes you happy. It would definitely be a dream come true to be able to be a full time blogger or something in that direction, but I'm happy where I'm at right now with my blog.
